Bishop Hurdis Shuford Bozeman is a native of Wetumpka, Alabama.
Moreover, she was born to the late, Mr. Robert Lee Shuford and Rev. Cora Rebecca Crenshaw Shuford.
Bishop Bozeman is the wife of the late Bishop, Dr. Frank T. Bozeman, and the co-founder of GEAC, GECCS, the Global Word Fellowship, Inc., B&B, and she is the Retired Pastor of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama.
Therefore, she is the mother of one biological daughter, and a beautiful blended family of five adults children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Bishop Hurdis Shuford Bozeman graduated from Wetumpka High School in 1972; she attended John M. Patterson State Technical College, in Montgomery, Alabama.
In like manner, she received her Cosmetology diploma, and the State of Alabama Cosmetology Teacher’s License. Bishop Bozeman continued her Technical Education Career at Auburn University and Athens State University and became a master teacher in her field.
During her teaching tenure for the Macon County Public Schools System, she was awarded state, district, and county honors. She received the district teacher of the year award, the district VICA advisor of the year award, became a member of the state VICA leadership team, and received the award for the Outstanding Cosmetology Program in the State of Alabama.
Furthermore, in the fall of 1996, Bishop Bozeman retired from teaching in the public schools and pursued an assignment to full time ministry. The teaching and preaching of God’s word took priority in her life. She led the Good Hope M. B. Church into purchasing the land, and building a new church in 2004, in Wetumpka, Alabama.
She has served as a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel for 41 years. Bishop Hurdis Shuford Bozeman has authored seven books and assisted three ministers with their books.
Moreover, Bishop Bozeman has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling, Summit University, New Orleans, Louisiana, Master of Divinity, Global Evangelical Christian College and Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling, Summit University. She has several honorary degrees, and several awards, and the Barack Obama Presidential Community Service Award.
Bishop Hurdis Shuford Bozeman has served in ministry for many years and she is going forth with God’s plans.
