Distance Learning Program
The Accelerated Distance Learning and Seminar Track Degree Program is a Bible Based, non-traditional fully accredited (not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education) Christian College and Seminary Degree Program. The Accelerated Distance Learning Degree Program is designed to meet the need of the Student/Learner. This program allows individuals with extensive ministry, life and work experience in a given field or discipline to qualify for a limited amount of credit hours in the undergraduate or graduate degree program to include additional academic work. All Student/Learners must be evaluated and then accepted into the College/Seminary. This program recognizes previously obtained formal education as well as the importance and unique quality of non-traditional education, which often occurs outside the framework of educational background and Christian experience. Moreover, all Student/Learners must complete the minimum of 30 semester non-traditional hours in order to graduate from GECCS. The Student/Learner must abide by the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ and the fundamental tenants of faith prepared by GECCS:
- Acceptance of a degree program candidate into the Accelerated Distance Learning Program follows a prayerful Spirit Led evaluation by the Admissions Committee of the candidate's Ministry, Pastoral, Life and Work Experiences, Educational Background and Christian Experience.
- All Student/Learners must be an active member of a local church and must provide copies of a portfolio, resume, transcript, certificates, photo identification and at least three references.
- All Student/Learners that are accepted into the GECCS Accelerated Distance Learning and Seminar Track Degree Program will be provided with an individualized Syllabus and Spirit Led Bible Based Curriculum designed to meet the need of the Student/Learner. The Syllabus/Curriculum involves extensive research in the major areas of discipline and or subject matter.
- The Student/Learner must provide GECCS with their area of interest upon Application/Invitation and Acceptance. After the Student/Learner completes the Syllabus/Curriculum, Final Paper (Thesis, Dissertation or Summation Papers) and or project then the Student/Learner must complete the final Colloquy. GECCS is noted for its faculty, mentors and staff's distinguished method of matriculation and academic Spirit of Excellence. There is a minimum of 30 semester hours on any Degree level to be completed through GECCS.
THE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies Degree = 60 Hours
Bachelor Arts in Biblical Studies Degree = 120 Hours
Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Counseling = 45-75 Hours
Master of Divinity in Christian Education, Christian Counseling, Christian Business Communications = 90 Hours
Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Biblical Preaching/Teaching = 45 Hours
Doctor of Faith Based Management Religious Community and Economic Development = 75 Hours
Doctor of Philosophy in Theology, Biblical Counseling = 75 Hours
