GEAC PURPOSE
- To provide a mechanism whereby evangelical educational institutions demonstrate that they meet at least minimal standards of performance.
- To provide consultation services that enable educational institutions to meet accepted standards of performance.
- To provide the consuming public with the current status of institutions that have applied to GEAC for accreditation.
- To provide a centralized information and referral source for issues that concern accredited institutions and non-traditional students.
- To disseminate information about non-traditional educational options to the general public.
- To promote academic excellence and accountability.
- Thank you for your interest in GEAC. (Global Evangelical Accrediting Commission). Please provide a copy of your resume, incorporation status, years involved as a school, college, seminary or institute, number of student enrollment, is there distance learning?
- We need a list of qualified instructors and degrees earned, copy of catalog, $200.00 application fee. (Non refundable).
- Moreover, once approved there is a $3500.00 accreditation membership fee. The minimum to get started is a fee of $1000.00; the balance fees can be arranged and paid on a monthly basis.
- Full accreditation status is given once all fees have been paid, and the required criteria has been met. Criteria:
- 1. Send resume
- 2. Provide incorporation papers
- 3. Provide catalog
- 4. years of existence
- 5. If distance learning where is Main campus?
- 6. If there are extension schools or satellite locations please list.
- 7. Application fee
- 8. Down payment fee
- 9. Arrangements for remaining fees, if needed.
- 10. Site visitation or teleconference. If site visitation is needed other arrangements with GEAC; must be approved.
